Hemenway School Pre-Feasibility Study

The Hemenway School of Framingham invited TBA to conduct a pre-feasibility study for the evolving space needs of their Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The study included analysis of existing conditions & systems, programmatic needs & capacity analysis, and existing utilization per MSBA standards.

Following this analysis, the City of Framingham needed TBA Architects to develop conceptual layout options for the potential renovation of the existing Water Street site as well as for new construction at both the existing site & for a potential new building at Bethany Road. Comparative cost estimates and maintenance projections accompany this study to inform the project as it moves into development. TBA’s analysis facilitates Framingham Public Schools’ ability to plan for required facility maintenance and upgrades, as well as projected increases in school enrollment as they look towards the future.
