Accessibility & Universal Design

TBA has always been committed to making barrier removal a priority in all its projects. We have designed access improvements in several building types including municipal buildings, public safety facilities, churches, schools, commercial buildings, private residences and multi-family and senior housing.

TBA believes "accessibility projects" do not need to be considered an after-the-fact fix to accommodate the minority of our population with special needs. Rather, "universal design" represents an opportunity to meet an important public purpose: to assure that all members of the public are fully respected and feel a genuine invitation into our public facilities. Our projects have included, ramps, elevators, toilet rooms, entries, and fully accessible residential units.
