In addition to being one of the largest unfiltered water supplies in the United States, the site of Quabbin Reservoir houses dam maintenance facilities, administrative & state police offices, as well as a public visitor center & restroom. Dating from the mid-20th Century, the Department of Conservation and Recreation found their facilities in need of assessment to ensure their endurance well into the 21st Century. TBA conducted a complete envelope, systems, and accessibility assessment for each of the structures located on the site. In this assessment, we outlined immediate repairs & improvements including conceptual interior reconfiguration to address accessibility requirements as well as exterior repairs. Additionally, a maintenance proposal outlined an efficient and economic plan to ensure longevity.
