TBA Architects, Inc. served as the House Dr. Architectural Consultant for the Town of Brookline Municipal and School Buildings in an On-Call/ As-Needed capacity. Our work for the Town involved the provision of complete Architectural & Engineering Services for small renovation and construction projects, as well as comprehensive assessments of existing conditions, space needs, and program requirements. Project types include survey, planning, design and construction monitoring services on a wide variety of renovation projects. The contract encompassed all Town buildings: school buildings, town offices, public recreation centers and other facilities. Comprehensive renovation and assessment projects involved building systems of all types, including envelope (roof, windows, and doors); walls (brick, stone and wood frame); access improvements; public safety and interior reconfiguration to address space needs.
TBA successfully completed sixty-eight individual projects for the Town of Brookline, a majority of those projects aimed at identifying opportunities to improve the built environment for nearly every school in the Brookline Public School System.
